Branding Better Health

Clem & Tyme

Registered Dietitian Leslie Edmunds had outgrown her small office space in downtown Springfield as well as her business’s brand (Healthy Hearts Nutrition), partly because of the misconception that her practice only focused on cardiac health. She renovated an old farmhouse located on one of her parents’ farms to turn it into functional office space for her growing business. This meant a new brand was needed to share Leslie’s vision for her practice with current and future clients, which was more than typical health and nutrition services. She envisioned services that complimented the features and amenities of the new farmhouse office, such as cooking classes in the demo kitchen, large group sessions in the barn and a community garden – just to name a few.

The Work:

Shift•ology drew inspiration from Leslie’s roots (Clem is her maiden name!) and staples in her pantry to develop a business brand fit for a farmhouse-renovating, Chip-and-Joanna-loving, whole-foods-powered dietitian. The Clem&Thyme Nutrition brand was born in 2017, and with the development of a comprehensive marketing-communication plan as well as key messaging that connects with target audiences in a meaningful way, Leslie’s practice has seen substantial growth ever since.

The Wins:

Leslie’s practice has grown from the original one-person team to nine registered dietitians as well as office support staff. She recently completed an addition to the farmhouse in 2020 to add more office spaces, exercise studios and an event space to increase the scope of services offered at Clem&Thyme Nutrition.
